On a recent visit to London last week I toured the Olympic Park and was amazed to see the Anish Kapoor & Celil Balmond. ArcelorMittal Orbit  sculpture being constructed.

It is going to be an amazing sculptural viewing point of the Olympic Park.

Standing at a gigantic 115m, it will be 22m taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York and offer unparalleled views of the entire 250 acres of the Olympic Park and London’s skyline from a special viewing platform. Visitors will be able to take a trip up the statuesque structure in a huge lift and will have the option of walking down the spiralling staircase.

Daily Art Muse is a great way of finding out about other artists at work and a great way of continuing the networking by adding it to my blog.  I love the basket figurines and their body language leaves me musing and daydreaming bring them to life and conversing with them.  The power of the artist at work.
